The Law Of Kindness
By: Kenya Gossett

"If there ever comes a time when the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefit of mankind, it will be a force such as this world has ever known." -Matthew Arnold

I'd like to change that quote. If there ever comes a time when women of the Kingdom, come together purely and simply for the benefit of Jesus Christ, it will be a force such as this world has ever known.

There's power in unification amongst sisters.
I love the beauty of when we can encourage and celebrate each other in our victories and the unique gifts God has given us individually. Not one of us is the same. We all have a role that only we can play. We're without rival. But there's nothing worse than seeing someone try to restrict those gifts from flowing due to their own deep seeded insecurity. It's demeaning, selfish, and ugly.

It makes my heart sad. Too many seeds of those who are gentle and pure in heart, have been aborted due to jealousy and hate. This shouldn't be found in the Kingdom of God! How can anyone think that God will further them in their calling, if they purposefully hold others back?

In Proverbs 31, we have the perfect example of how a woman should conduct herself: especially with others.

Proverbs 31:26 KJV

“She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”

Life and death is in the power of the tongue.
We have the power to resurrect a spirit or destroy beyond repair. As women who proclaim to serve Jesus, we need to learn how to tame the boldness within us and embrace the gentleness of our heart. That is of great worth in the sight of God!

Holding our tongue is not a sign of weakness: it's a sign of Godliness. True strength is being able to open our mouth with nothing but kindness and discernment. It's refraining ourselves from sharing hurtful opinions that come straight from the soul and instead asking The Holy Spirit, "What do YOU want me to say? What will produce sweet fruit in my sisters heart?"

David said in Psalms 18:35 "Your gentleness has made me great." Wow, I love that. Not our bluntness, not our outspokenness, not our boldness or our strong soul. It's gentleness and brokenness before the Lord that radiates and holds the greatest power in the lives of those around us.

What's awesome is when we start encouraging someone, it kills jealousy and insecurity within because we're laying ourselves down, to build others up and help them win. That's what a woman of the Kingdom does. She sees others the way God sees them. We already have enough harshness and strong personalities in the world. It's time to cut that out of our circle.

Jesus was never found with deceit in His mouth.
He was never nasty in his spirit towards others. He loved people back to life. That's His heart.
and as women, we were made to arise with the same love.

Be the biggest cheerleader to the girls around you. Laugh when they laugh. Cry when they cry. Rejoice when God does a miracle in their life and back up whatever they are putting their hand to. Be kind in your opinions and let whatever is spoken out of your mouth, be a word straight from the Fathers heart. Never be the one who makes a girl feel less than. Treat everyone like the beautiful, treasured queen that they are. Keep the crown secure on the head of your sister.

“Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers (sisters), tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead BLESSING, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.” 1 Peter‬ ‭3:8-9‬ ‭WMB

Let kindness be the law we live by. Speak life. Speak blessings. Speak love. For Such A Time As This.
