Daddy's Love
By: Anya Mishakov
Having a little girl has changed our lives forever . God has been showing us a different side of Him ever since she was born .
Me and my husband both are in love with our boys but a girl is such a different creation. That's why I'm convinced that Daddy has a special relationship with His daughters. Let me explain that a little more.
Most boys don't really need to talk and hear an explanation when you discipline them or asking them to do something, there is little emotions involved. You tell them what to do or not to do and they understand (well sometimes). A girl on the other hand needs a lot of explanation of what is expected of her. She wants to feel like she is loved and important. I could not raise my voice at her because I would see tears welling up in her beautiful eyes .
If she falls, I and all my neighbors hear it. When one of our boys would hit the ground I just watched them get up, rub the spot that got hit and get back on their bikes or go back to what they were doing . My husband who is a manly man is showing a completely different side of him, that I've never seen. I love love love to watch him spend time with her and his deep, compassionate love for her. What a beautiful picture that is. It melts my heart every time.
We all love to watch her twirl and dance for us. Our boys absolutely love and protect her from anything and anyone that can hurt her in any way. Her sweet voice fills up a room and makes my heart smile. I love to watch her play and nurture her babies. She is such a little mama.
The more she grows the more I understand that My Heavenly Father loves and accepts me for who I'm created to be and not for what my friends expect of me or how they see me. God's word is full of truth so when I'm going through a challenging time in my life I go to it for strength, encouragement and peace. Only in Him I can find that.
Here are few of my favorite verses :
James 1:17-18
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.”
Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG
“It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.”
Psalm 139:13-16 MSG
“Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.”
Our Father wants us to know that He loves to listen to us when we cry out to Him or just tell him how our day went. He delights in our dancing and heartfelt worship to Him. He loves to see us nurture and care for our husbands and kids! He is the one who created us and He takes a great pleasure in watching us mature and be confident in who we become. He thought of us before the creation of the world.
Precious daughter, I just want you to know that You are Important, You are Loved, You are Precious, You are Beautiful, and You were Worth His death and resurrection. He did it for you and for me! He deeply loves and cares for you! Run to Him when you are in pain or confused. Share your heart with Him! He hears us and He is near us! Closer than we know!
